Really?

All they wanted to do was make friends with the Greeks and adopt the customs of others to have improved relationships with others.

A genocide was launched against them because the Hebrews follow a belief system where all other humans are morally inferior. It's like ancient Nazism.

Also, Passover is another fantasy about killing people, as is Purim.

I've done a lot of reading about mideast religion over the years, and most are too nice.

Note: I don't believe that these religions are real, just political constructs designed to control people. So, I view these events as pointless slaughter.
