That's a good point. Meal replacements would be no liability but anything that is borderline drug would be a liability if given to clients... but then again, if someone's allergic to peanuts and you gave them a protein which was made in a warehouse with peanuts they could die so....

I really feel that they would have a hard time pinning that on you if they died from a peanut allergy. Its a sample that they are taking on their own accord. It wasn't prescribed or pushed on them. No different than getting a sample in the food courts.
Say a person gets a sample of chinese with peanuts in it. Those places offer that to anyone who walks by! Do you think the victim could win a lawsuit against the company giving out samples?
Or when you go to the Olympia Expo and you get handfuls of samples of NO products and high content caffeine pills. Do you think that they would take that chance of getting sued? The ingredients are on the package and just because the company gave out the sample, its still up to the customer to take it.
Either way, our ingredients are on the labels, so it would be their responsibility to read those labels and make the decision on whether or not to take the sample.trainingwithryan.substack.com
