Misc mechanics, cooling system help.

In the moring when I turn my ignition to key on position, my radiator fan is on all the time even my engine is cold. Even when I drive, it won't cycle on and off, it keeps going. Now I assume it's the relay or the engine coolant temperature sensor, right?? It can't be the thermostat.

i have no idea what kind of car u drive but the rad fan is often controlled by a seperate thermoswitch either on the radiator or around the thermostat housing

i used to wire mine to be on all the time so my motor would stay cooler. its not a problem or anything really.

but more info is needed.

It's not good like that, fuel economy can be reduce and engine performance can feel sluggish. I am driving a corolla 98.

Viscous Coupling toast maybe?
