anyone sell something on ebay and get paid with paypal? (will rep)
i just got paid for a watch i sold on ebay, but it says in my paypal that the payment is pending. and i can't deposit it into my bank account??
this is the first time i've sold something. is this normal? does it take a few days to get released or what??

Don't send your stuff! If they paid with cc, it should be there immediatly. If paid by echeck, it may take a few days. Don't send until you get the money. Let the buyer know this asap!

no you can send it...I had the same thing happen.
the person who bought it has to leave positive feeback or you wait 18 days to get your money.
its complete bull **** I knowl.
I use to be able to transfer it that minute when I got it.
I called paypal

It's PayPal's latest ****ty policy. It's because you're too new (not enough feedback) or you sold something in a category that is high risk (such as gift certificates).
They will release the $ after 21 days or after you receive positive feedback from the buyer. YOU HAVE TO SHIP THE ITEM BEFORE THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE MONEY, PERIOD.
Make sure you log into your account and that you received the money. It will say it's being held until then.

Normal. Dont ship item until it clears. Its to make sure the funds are good and you dont get screwed. It might also be a security measure to keep the buyer safe. To make sure you arent fraudin. I reiterate, DO NOT send the item until the funds clear.

People with low ratings are starting to have their payments held until the buyer approves...or you send tracking info to show that it was shipped.
I had something like this happen a year ago when i sold some camera equipment, but the email was phrased differently.

stfu fool. If he doesn't send the stuff, paypal will refund the buyer their money and OP will get bad feedback.
Send the stuff, get delivery confirmation. You will get your money if the buyer is happy/you send what was advertised.
It is normal for paypal to hold payment.

If the payments came in its legit. Paypal are a bunch of pricks.
two options
1) ship via ups and get signature
2) have buyer leave positive feedback
you can ship the item now. its safe. Even if you sent the funds in to a bank account paypal will get them back.

A watch is most likely on the list of items considered "high risk" sales.
I sold a gift card a few months ago and I had to wait until the seller gave me positive feedback in order to receive my payment.
