Extra high rep work on 5/3/1

On the strength template in Bango Skank's write up, it says to do 5x10 at 50% after the initial work on the basic exercises (deads, squats, bench, press). Is this purely for hypertrophy?

i'd start with more of a 5x10 @40% lol the ****s hard after going all out.

poopoo you confused me with that boring but big i believe is based off 50% of your 90% max or you could just do 40% of max which is how i do it.

Start at 40% of your max and increase it to 50-60 depending on how hard it is. It's just hypertrophy work, the percentages are a roooough guide. I use my actual/estimated max, not training max.
