5/(x+2) = 1 - (3/(x-2))

I need to show work... no idea how to do this. last problem on the assignment. ill seriously paypal you 2 bucks to give me the correct answer with work shown... thanks...

5/(x+2) = (x-2)/(x-2) - (3/(x-2))
5/(x+2) = (x-5)/(x-2) [(x-2)/(x-2) is equal to one]
5(x-2) = (x+2)(x-5) [reduce and cross multiply]
0 = x^2 - 8x [combine like terms to one side]
0 = x(x-8) [factor out x]
x=0, x=8
