One side of body bigger than other

I didn't know where to post this, and I hear this is a common occurrence, but I just wanted to post this here. So I'm right-handed and the left side of my body is bigger than the right side. Well, at least it's pretty noticeable with my left trapezius, left pec, and left lower back, though as people always say, "it's just more noticeable to yourself, nobody else will notice." So what is the official bb.com opinion on this phenomenon?

Happens. It is very possible to balance out the muscular aspect. Things like rib bone imbalances however cannot be fixed .

imbalances can be corrected with dumbbell work and working muscles individually instead of as a pair.

So in your case, perform db shrugs instead of bb shrugs, and if needed, do a couple more reps on your small side each set, or use a db that's a couple lbs heavier on the weak side to insure you're working it more than your big side.

For chest same idea, do bench press with dbs instead of a bb.

But, as others have said, at your height and weight, you need to put a lot of mass on your frame mate! How do you have enough meat on your bones to even have an imbalance? EAT!

This to some extent. BB's are ok for most because the bar will fall to one side if even pressure isnt exerted. DB's are tough to beat for co ordination and evenness though.
Stay away from non unilateral machines for this.
