lol yeh i've never heard of an extremist buddhist and i havn't heard of any suicide christian bombers. 9/11, London bombings, Bali, Jakarta, and various middle eastern attacks all been committed by muslims. Time and again we're all told that muslims aren't all like this. However when their cleric leaders in some cases are actively supporting terrorism and in Australia's case supporting gang rape against 'aussie sluts' than it does cross your mind that maybe there's a connection between their religion and actions.

Agreed.
Die hard liberals would have have a heyday with this (no conservative).
I hope he's eaten alive in w/e prison he will be sent too assuming he doesn't receive the death penalty.

It does and it doesn't. He must have hit with every round. There's no other way and even then, it's still sketchy.
We're not gonna get an explanation, though. First the gunman was dead, then he wasn't. We've had The FBI stating plainly that they don't suspect terrorism moments before reports start surfacing about the genetic waste shouting, "Allah Akbar!".
Hasan was being watched although there was no problem with his job performance. His statements were worrisome and the websites he visited suggested extremism but to do something about it would be profiling.
Obama wants all the facts even though he won't address those he already has and voices concern about backlash against Muslims in the military - even though he hasn't made a formal statement regarding the U.S.'s next move in Afghanistan over the past 2 months.
Blah, blah, blah. Something beneath the surface really stinks."How many times can I say I'm not sorry? And how many ways can I show I don't care?" - Type O Negative

I'm 100% sure this guy will suffer in solitary confinement for the rest of his miserable life. Maybe he'll be executed, who knows.
The one thing that bugs me are the people who think there's some sort of conspiracy behind this. Simply put, this guy was a religious nut-case who lost it. He's gonna pay for this.
Enough of this anti-Muslim rhetoric. He is one person. No true Muslims condone this action, they abhor it. My girlfriend's family is Persian (and Muslim) and they stand behind putting this guy down as everyone else does.
This highlights the fact that we need to have better mental evaluations for unstable soldiers, so that this doesn't happen again.
Lastly, put the P.O.S in supermax or put him down. He deserves it.If life gives you lemons, say **** the lemons and bail.

Why do you hope it doesn't happen? They're in the US, they're probably very likely not under threat of death for being an apostate and no one is stopping them from not being a Muslim (aka a supremacist). The reason why there is so much Islamic violence is because Islam is a HUGELY supremacist religion.
Maybe they should admit no one knows the meaning of life and become agnostic humanists like Thomas Jefferson?

its not hard for a few ignorant folks to spread rumors and this that or this and before you know it, hate crimes.
ignorance breeds hate and since the military is selected from a the pool of an imperfect society, its not surprising for a few bad apples to commit hate crimes based soley on religion."Nothing is more painful to the human mind than, after the feelings have been worked up by a quick succession of events, the dead calmness of inaction and certainity which follows and deprives the soul both of hope and fear." - Mary Shelly

- sigh -
A lot of non-muslims were just killed and wounded due to the actions of this piece of ****. Tit-for-tat doesn't make it ok or right or balanced - but Hasan had to have some idea that the backlash would, at the very least, alienate fellow Muslims. There are strict rules regarding harassment, violence, etc. in the military directed toward specially outlined groups - muslims included.
The point?
I don't believe there will be an increase in any type of negative behavior directed toward muslims in the military - but I do believe the litmus test for reporting it, especially in the media, will be much more sensitive."How many times can I say I'm not sorry? And how many ways can I show I don't care?" - Type O Negative
