Like god's main purpose is getting baseball players to the world series even though there is no such thing as god.

The Yankees that haven't played in a world series in six years and have been throroughly embarrased for those past six years up until this point?
The Pats that havent won a superbowl in 4 years and have been thoroughly embarrased with the biggest superbowl upset loss in recent history and cheating allegations?
The San Antonio Spurs that have sooooo many fans?
Right.
and I can't take you seriously because all I have seen you do is bitch/cry in every Yankees thread that has popped up the last few weeks. Quit crying.

Lets be reality. At about the age you probably started caring about sports those teams were starting to have success. They are not located in the same city, and lets be honest, if you're a fan of a Boston team you are NOT also a fan of a New York team and vice versa. Basically you picked teams to follow because they were good at the time, ie. you jumped on their bandwagon.

I started watching sports at 6-7 with my family. So lets see 1993-1994? None of those teams were spectacular at that time. No denying that all had success especially around the late 90's early 2000's.

No doubt but were I grew up we don't have a pro-team. I started off a Spurs fan because of one side of my family and my Grandfather KNEW David Robinson as a kid and I become a fan of theirs chearing with him as a little boy. One side of my family is all Yankees fans. I liked the Patriots because when I was five I thought their logo was George Washington hiking a football and thought that was awesome. Most of my family is Redskins fans who were MUCH better than the Patriots in the early 90's

Right, becase since the Yankees and Red Sox are rivals in baseball that sets in stone the fans of ALL sports across the board even for people that don't even live in either one of those metropolitan areas? LMFAO. "brah you cant like the Boston Bruins and New York Jets at the same time--the Yanks/Sox are rivals11"

Right, okay. Lets say this is true: even still I have stuck with those teams through all of the embarrasment they have faced the past half of decade. When I switch over to the Lakers/Red Sox/Steelers come talk to me.

I cant believe im actually going to agree with a Boston fan but this def. true.
I am a big Yankees/Rangers/Giants fan and i absolutley hate the Red Sox/Bruins/Pats
Its just how it works. NY vs. Boston in general is a huge rivalry

for the sox fans that are complaining about the yankees dumping money at him, please stop. for ten million more over 7 years you could have had a top tier first basemen. Your GM shat the bed. Sorry.
for tex, yea obv he took the better deal. had the sox topped it, he may have ended up there (god influenced?) and not been in ny for this glorious world series they just won. Giambi's 8 year bomb contract happened to end the same year tex went to free agency. So yeah, a couple things worked out the right way.

nobody is complaing about anything. we are laughing at him trying to say that god told him to come here as opposed to the **** load of money the yanks offered..........that apparently had nothing to do with it. it was god.

Maybe God is responsible for NY offering him so much money which would mean ultimately god did lead him there.
