How much muscle mass can I expect to gain each week whilst bulking?

I am currently 165 at around 12% bf and starting a bulk. I am eating 3500kcal and aiming to add 1lb each week, this is my first week so I dont know yet how much weight a diet of 35kcal will give me.

I think my diet is pretty good, it is very clean, I eat 200g protein each day, take coconut oil and am going to start taking fish oil pills to give me the EFA's I need. My workout I think is pretty good too, its a four day split.

What I want to know is, given a good diet and good workout program, if I gain 1lb per week how much of that can I expect to be muscle mass. If I could gain 0.9lb muscle and 0.1lb fat I would be very happy with as this is a 10% ratio. But is this likely?

I saw a progress thread on here showing a guy who adding 20lbs of mass in 2 months and actually lost bodyfat%. Natural too as he was in the military. I know a lot of this depends on genes also but what are you guys experiences, how much do you put on each week whilst bulking and how much is muscle?

    you are WAY overthinking this

train your ass off and eat a ton and keep your weight gain right around 1 pound per week

if you get fat eat less and/or train harder

if you don't gain size train harder and eat more

    simple
