Whole Grain Corn post-workout?
I usually eat the regular Lucky Charms post-workout, which is whole-grain oats and sugar (12g complex carbs, 12g sugar)
However, I got some Chocolate Lucky Charms today. I noticed its primary ingredient is whole-grain corn (still 12g complex carbs, 12g sugar per serving).
Is whole grain corn okay post-workout?

Of course its fine, its a carbohydrate in the end.
Make do with what you've in reach.

not all carbs are good though, i know fructose goes to replenish liver glycogen first
i dunno much about nutrition though, so i'm not sure about corn

replenishing liver glycogen is quite important, its a very good thing when trying to build muscle
and I think you mean cornmeal

Why would it matter? Carbs are converted into glucose regardless of source anyways. The only difference is fructose takes a path through the liver first.

No, it's not. Ideal for taste maybe, but it is not going to give you any bodybuilding results better than oats or any other carb source. Please read the stickies and multiple other discussions daily about how sugars post-workout are unnecessary.
Sure, if you want to simply enjoy what you eat post workout than you can justify any type of yummy food, I prefer cookies or cake, but don't try and justify it by saying that you need to "spike" insulin or anything like that, which is what I suspect is your justification for thinking sugary cereal is optimal post workout.
