Pre and Post workout supps = $$$
Ok so my whey protein is running low so I went to GNC with $70 to checkout what was up. Boy was I in for a surprise, I knew a lot of stuff was around $50 but I had no idea all of the good stuff at GNC is more than that.
My GNC vitamin packs "ENERGY" is nearly out, and definitely makes me feel good.
However the GNC "SPORT" packets is freakin $50 for a 30 day supply!!! Good lord!!!
I am already taking creatine, so I ended up going to wal-mart and got a 2 LB tub of whey for $20. I also got 90 capsules of N.O. stimulant for $10 and got some korean ginseng for energy.
I plan on going to GNC tomorrow and getting liquid BCAA and some GABA supplement.
Now if I did decide to drop $70 on a tub of workout supplement, would you recommend pre or post workout, considering what I already have? The guy recommended me a 70 dollar tub of this pre-workout energy stuff that had shiny pink labeling. I was looking at other stuff such as After-GLO but so freakin confused. PRE or POST
EDIT: CLIFF NOTS:
Ok i'm currently taking creatine, whey protein, BCAA, and N.O. supplement.
What else would you recommend? And if I got a tub of stuff, would you recommend PRE or POST workout supplement?

However I feel as though I can't really justify spending $70 on a tub of pre or post workout supplement that has shiny labeling.

Creatine, Whey, and Food are the essentials.
N.O. is nice if you want a good pump and workout energy. SuperPump250 actually has a lot of BCAA's and Creatine along with the N.O. So Imo its the great Pre-workout supplement. Post-workout supplement get some whey/creatine blends.

^^^^ what he said... don't bother with the "during workout" intra-vol carp, and the preworkout stuff. You much better off spending it on food. Go buy a 4kg box of chicken breasts, it's like $36.

Okay thanks for the info......cleared up
I take 1 teaspoon of creatine before/during my workout.
After workout, should I take just whey protein, or should I add a little bit of creatine with it?

GNC is a huge ripoff, ever thought about ordering from this site?
They have all the same products as GNC (aside from the GNC specific brand supps) for usually half the price, and I'm not even exaggerating (that's the sad part.)

Viti-packs cost a pretty penny, but you could just get the muti-vitiman pill, one a day stacked on to a triple fish oil pill. And You can find good cheap N.O's there.

Yep I take multi-vitamins, Fish/flaxseed oils, vitamin E and C
And it was funny, I was asking the employee there a couple of the prices...one was $70...another was $70.... then the multi-v packs were $50. So I just left immediately LOL

Well i work there so, at my store the single sport pill is 10 bucks for 30 days. There are several things that are cheaper to re-place that pack.

Stay away from GNC unless you plan on returning the favor of them ripping you off:
they have a 30 day money back guarantee, even if you use all the product. So, use the product then return it.
Ha.
