Avatar question

I am the Community Product Owner for Bodybuilding.com (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/empl...Name=Jed+Reese). Can you tell me what action you attempted so that we can further troubleshoot where it is being broken? I will have our development team look into this right away!

well i deleted my profile picture and re-uploaded it. posted on forums but no avi present.

i also went to my forum control panel -> Edit Avatar and clicked 'reset fields' but nothing happens (same as before). i find it funny that 'do not use an avatar' is a radio button so you cannot deselect it.

if im going about it the wrong way let me know.

i erased my avi, clicked the reset button where it says "do not show avatar on furums", put my avi back up, started posting again. still doesent work

Hello! Are you referring to static gifs or animated? Static gifs under 2MB are already allowed. Let me know if you are having issues uploading these, however.

Hello! Are you referring to static gifs or animated? Static gifs under 2MB are already allowed. Let me know if you are having issues uploading these, however.

It's only animated GIFs that are no longer allowed, for obvious reasons. Any existing animated GIFs (already on the site before the change) can stay as long as they're not too huge (which, due to the nature of animated GIFs, is a small fraction of them - most animated GIFs are really huge and cause page load delays for everyone).

The Forum avatar issue has been resolved! The fix addressed both the disappearance of avatars and the synchronization issue with that of a users main profile picture. If you reset your avatar or upload a new one it should now show up on your Forum posts (presently, an action is required to trigger the fix). The "Do not us an avatar" flag has been temporarily disabled and will be removed permanently in the near future. Note: We will be running a series of queries this week to turn on all user avatars in the event that some users do not see this forum thread.

Just went into my bodyspace and saw litlle pencils all over my feed, you guys gonna make it editable in the future? If so, thanks and yay! Also, not sure if I should bother trying to reset my avi since everyones still having issues...

Dont try changing your avi's again, this awesome guy just synchronised the avis for all in this thread http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/factotum/

If you change it, it wont show up again and you'll have the same problem I tried.
