I haven't seen any pals do anything other than shoot at, shell at and rocket at civilians. As for defending themselves - are you high? IDF pummels them anytime they want to. Pals can't say anything because they do stupid stuff constantly (see attack civis above) that invites a good pummeling.

The native americans have exactly the same claim to a hell of a lot more land and that is not going to happen.

When land is won in war - and especially in a war of aggression - it is not usually going to be returned.

The palestinians as a people need to become educated through whatever means available (the Israelis already pay for 90+% of the food, utilities and medicines, it is not a long stretch that they would help or even pay entirely for education), throw off the shackles of extremism and then integrate if needed or continue to press for autonomy. Autonomy means that you have to pay for your own subsistance though, so........ until the pals bring the income up or are able to efficiently utilize all that foriegn aid..... they will still not be in a good position.

And how can Palestine get more educated if they hardly have resources to meet basic needs and their land is under constant blockade? And in the mind of many Palestinians, the "joos" are on their land (reinforced by IDF incursions into Gaza)? Yeah, maybe if they were all more affluent then no one would be killing each other but how do you go about that?

You're blind. As Geno said, the land is NOT the Palestinians anymore, they have their own land now, wars change geo-political lines, simple as that. Islam wouldn't be in N. Africa, not would've it ever hit Spain if it was not for war, but it happened and that is that.
