I do man. I hate it
It feels like I haven't done ****. That all these months of eating/training my ass off nothing is increasing in size. I just have to keep pushing through it.

Feeling average is alot better than being falsely overconfident. I see guys 6'0 150 puffing their chest out after a heavy set of 115 on the bench. I'm pretty sure their false overconfidence is whats keeping them back.

My perspective sucks! When I look down at my arms, they look about 12-13", even though they are bigger! Same goes with my wiener!
But yea, feel like crap on rest days

You're doing strength training that's why.
Strength training are short workouts, most likely an hour, you do probably 4 exercises with 5 sets per exercise of 8-12 reps with heavy weight correct?
Ya that will exhaust you while you're doing it however...there are harder workouts where you won't feel average at all..

Yeah, I got tired of being using "steroids" (aka. Casein-Whey Protein Mix, such as MM) at high school so I would just either A) go to the locker room to have my shake or B) eat lunch with my wrestling coach/weights partner/math teacher...
That always pissed me off when people were all calling me a roid pusher for taking that **** (and I was still tiny) but funny how their perspective changes when they go off to college and stop playing sports and suddenly they are getting a little flabby and I'm still solid (yet tiny)...Then I get the "whats the best kind of protein to get me big?"...lol... I want to punch them in the face and be like "Its the work that makes you big, not the supplements!"

whenever you get bigger youre so happy with the results that you start looking at huge body builders and you will still see youre self as the smallest but really from other viewpoints people probably view you as a pretty big guy

For most of the guys replying that you feel small, its probably because most of you are small. This especially goes for the six foot and over guys under 180. And no matter how short you are, you're small if you struggle to hit 150 or 160 pounrds, a lot of girls weigh that much. At least you have a good idea of what you look like though

Sometimes I feel like I look strong, but pictures seem to be a letdown. I wish I could take pictures directly through my eyes, so I could have a copy of exactly what I see.

Every weekend when I have 2 days off i feel like **** and so small cuz I'm not in the gym. Although this weekend I saw a friend that I haven't seen in two years who was like oh wow, you've been working out and asked for a flex... Biggest confidence booster. I would say I'm average size, that's why I'm bulking!!

Its the mindset of the sport. The second you are satisfied with your look/size is the second you should just forget about succeeding in bodybuilding.

Yeah.. We'd have to make it broad... so it fits for different ages, weights, and hieghts pretty evenly with no super unfair advantages...

hmm.. well those who want to bulk could aim for a gain of 20-30lbs... regardless of starting weight/height..
Time frame?
I dont think I saw anyone in the thread who was looking to cut since we all feel small..
