Thanks Vietgoboi! Im around 250 now and that contest pic i weighed in at 202...so yeah...it is a really big difference. Im trying to push up to 270 or so so I can be on stage around 225-235

it really honestly beats me. We do have a room in that gym that is more serious lifter oriented and we can play whatever we want......all the benches in there were taken when i needed to start so i just dealt with it lol

Wow - just insane strength! Awesomely impressive!
Not being negative as that was awesome but you'll really nead to work on your pause - the refs can make you wait as long as they want at the bottom.
I saw my buddy do his first comp at the weekend and they made him wait for a good few seconds at the bottom on one lift. Really mean!

some one prolly asked them to play something different earlier in the day and they never changed it back. my gym plays metal until some old person or the yoga class lady asks them to play somethng different.
seriously sometimes it hard to get amped when either britney or the spice girls is on.
OP, looked to me like you could have done a few more reps. but either way very strong lift.

Solid lift and completely raw, not even wrist wraps. That's pretty damn solid.

thanks debrovnik! I dont take that as negative as all and I agree i do need to work on the pause...you never know how long they are gonna have you hold it there

Not sure how you would feel about this, but I'd post that in the powerlifter/strongman section and let them critique if you want some constructive criticism on form. For example (and I'm NOT a powerlifter) I read a thread in there about the liftoff and how important it is for many. Seems yours was different than what the competitive PLs do. And they seem to take longer getting set up under the bar after the weight is lifted over the chest. Also the pause. Either way, STRONG lift!
