Does anyone talk on the phone anymore?

Every time I've been getting numbers lately I call and it just turns to fail. I even had one chick tell me she "hates talking on the phone". Should I stop calling these chicks and just text? Seems so not personal though. Does anyone actually talk on the phone anymore these days?

yeah.. it's 1000000 times better to talk on the phone i find. makes you feel all goofy forthe rest of the day because it's like you talked an hour to someone you're interested in.

From my experience I'm usually texting first and then i say "I'm gonna call you ok?" and that's how it starts. I never just randomly call.

I only text. I stopped calling girls around the time texting became common. Talking on the phone sucks

Text before you go to bed that night "Awesome meeting you tonight. Sweet dreams" or some gay **** like that.

Get text back "Awwww. you too

Text something random a day or two later, like "Holy **** the cheese on my McDouble wrapper is so good!"

She will be like wtf lol and text you back. Continue text conversation all day. Usually leads to tits/ass pictures and sending her cock pictures.

Agreed, but a lot of times you can't tell when people are joking through texting and sometimes it's just easier to explain something over the phone.

Texting is alright, but nothing beats a good conversation. And on this issue, I dont trust girls that if you call them, they just text you back and never pick up...texting lets you lie about whatever you want, where ever you are...

im not big phone person either, but i never have been. in person convos are great. and i have no problem texting as it tends to tie you up less.

Well, left voice mail last night (I know fail). Chick just texted me back (kinda surprised). Called other chick yesterday also, and she picked up but couldn't talk cause she was driving so she said she'll "text" me back. URGHHH. Chick #2 never got back to me but texted her today and I'm making progress. I guess this is how the game works and this is how it's gonna have to be.

Oh well.

What? I met a girl and texted back and forth for a couple of hours. Finally talked to her on the phone and learned a whole lot more through conversation. Could have had the same convo we had while texting for 2 hours in a 15 minute convo over the phone. Texting can be more convenient with people you already know, but when getting to know someone its a lot easier to have a real conversation with them. Why give them your number if you dont want to "get hooked in a phone call?"

This. I use a lot of sarcasm and try to make the girl smile and laugh, but its a lot harder to do when they dont know me well and I have to keep putting "haha or

" after every text. Its easier to hear the sarcasm and laughing through my voice.

I'll text, but when a girl is in some trouble or needs to talk about an issue that's when I'll call. it's waaaay more personal. Plus a girl can be txting you and 3 other guys for all you know, but when you CALL them, you know you're the only one she's paying full attention to at that moment.
