Misc writers: NaNoWriMo
Anyone else doing this?
Basically, you write an entire novel in the month of November. It obviously turns out pretty crappy, but it's an excellent writing exercise to teach yourself to just get that sh!t worked on.
I changed my entire planned plot the night it started (Halloween night, after midnight,) so I'm a bit behind where I should be on my daily word count, but I'm catching up.

It's not too late if anyone thinks this sound like fun. There's also a month for writing a music album, and one for scripts.

Definately not a writer but I can see how this is a great idea. I would get in on it but I've been trying to get back into the gym more, don't wanna push things.

lol my teacher made our writing class do this... 50k words in 1 month. On the last day I had 8000 words to go and I got it done at like 11 PM. One kid actually got a book deal from what he wrote (srs)

I'm a novelist that hasn't finished her book yet... and prob WON'T until the summer. lol ****. that's what I get for starting it before school... I have NO TIME BC OF SCHOOL! grrr

I watch football on a regular basis and understand it. I played rugby for a while(tight head), started the women's team at my Uni and now coach HS girls. I will be getting USA rugby coach certified in Dec 2009. Wish me luck! I'm starting a club from scratch YET AGAIN! lol
