DC Training - 2k+ reps
I've been basically looking for a new program for awhile, and I stumbled upon the DC training on T-Nation.
http://www.tmuscle.com/free_online_a...e_in_12_months
I don't expect the 50 lbs, obviously. Just looking for something new. And this seems pretty intense.
What are the opinions of this training? Who's done it with good results?

I did it for about 8 weeks last yr, and I just started it again this week.
I'd have to say its my favorite training style, definitely made my best gains while training with this.
Only thing is, its very very hard on the body, its f*ckin intense.
but if you choose to do it, i dont see how you wont grow

Yeah. I can tell it will be hard on the body. I'll probably order some joint supplements soon. And I'm gonna have to learn how to really warmup.

It's extremely taxing on the CNS. I would hold off a bit personally because your current split seems to be working really well for you.

Something like that. Read the whole article. It will explain it better than I can.

I've been doing it since August and it's awesome. It's an "advanced" routine, but I've been making gains as an intermediate. I just love the style of lifting and the intensity. Nothing else comes close imo, but then again i've never tried HIT. It's the only routine where I can make strength gains EVERY lift no matter what. 5x5 just didn't do it for me.
and make sure to blast and deload. After 6-12 weeks, you will feel beat up and in pain. It's inevitable. My joints hurt bad after a few weeks.

fantastic set up to be honest.
One of the best programs I have ever done and have ever seen on paper.
It gets annoying and repetitive at times, but it is really worth it. Try it out. You'll know if it's for you or not within a week or two of doing it.

ive been doing it for 4-5 months now, would not train any other way again. legs are an absolute kunt if you do them properly too. obviously do the 2 day split as well. strength increases are rapid compared to any other program as are size imo. dante talks about consuming 500g+ of pro a day as well so 200g wont cut it on this i dont think... and be prepared to cruise every 6 weeksish
