My workout Journal

Starting a thread to keep up with workouts, weight lifted, goals and weight management.

Muscles worked today - Deltoids, Quadtriceps, hamstrings and Calfs.

Squats- 5 sets, 60kg- 10 reps, 70kg 10reps, 80kg 6 reps , 90kg 5 reps, 100kg 2 reps.
45 degree leg push- 4 sets, 40kg-8 reps, 80kg-8 reps, 100kg-6 reps,120kg-6reps
Leg Curl 3 sets 1x40kg 1x45kg 1x50 8-12 reps.
Standing calf 4x10 100kg

DB shoulder press 3x8 20kg
Upright row 4x10
Side lateral raise 4x8 12.5kg
Posterior deltoid pull 3x10 15kg
Arnold press till failure

Because my shoulders are one of my weaknesses i train them more than once a week, this is workout one.

Workout 2- muscles worked Pectorals.

Flat Bench- 2x60kg 2x65kg 1x70kg 8-10 reps
Incline bench 5x5 60kg
Cable crossover 4 x 10
incline flys 1x 8-10reps, 10kg 1x 8reps,12.5kg 1x15kg 8 reps
DB pullover 3x6 25kg,27.5 and 30kg
Pressups till failure


Overall not the best workout was really lacking energy for the best part and feel if i was fresh i'd be able to lift alot more

Standing Front Barbell Raise Over Head on cable machine 4 x10

latissimus dorsi, rhomboids and lower back.

T-bar, 40kg 10 reps, 60kg 10reps, 70kg 6 reps, 75kg 6 reps
Bent rows 4x8 60kg
Lat pulldowns 1x 10 60kg, 1x10 65kg, 1x8 70kg, 1x6 75, 1x1 90 kg
seated rows 4x 10- 45kg 55kg 65kg
Shrugs 2x10 60kg 2x10 80kg

Noramlly deadlift on backday however thought i'd rest it, been going heavy recently did 150kg last week. Was still feeling sore when i was just deadlifting the bar for warm ups.

Forgot to update, bear with me guys !

Arms- Friday

Seated DB curls 4x12
Tricep pull down (rope) 4x12
tricep extensions 3x8
hammer curls 3x8
dips 4x10
Barbell curls 2x12

Monday Legs,

Squats 5 sets, managed to get 100kg for five reps on the last set. Personal best
45degree leg press
leg curl
calf raise
Lunges.

Tuesday- Shoulders.

Overhead press 4x8, managed to get 4 on 60kg another personal best
Side lat raise 4x15 15kg
plate raise 3x 8 20kg plate
Upright row 4x8 On cable machine
