I think this is discusting... They did the same thing to their son as the Sandrak parents did. It's pathetic what people do in order to be noticed. This kid is going to have major health and social issues.
When I was 4, it was all about tonka trucks, hot wheels, and PB and J.
Not this.
Holy hell let your kid live.

x2
in fact, i still spend most of my time thinking about trucks and pb&j
lol err no. Sandrak was on steroids. This kid was born with no myostatin which means his muscles will grow faster and be stronger than an adult bodybuilder, let alone a kid hos age. Do your research.

The point, I dont give a ****. Theres no proof that weight lifting is bad for health in children. The only thing close to circumstantial is when doing heavy presses vertically due to spinal compression, thus resulting in shorter stature. Nice try in trying to sound "in" though.

In my opinion...
Why not capitalize on this kid's gift?
He has no myostatin, which means he's already f'cked up. I doubt training is going to actually hurt him much more.
Richard Sandrak, from what I've heard, has no problems and is growing like an average person, and he was on Test at like 5 years old.
So really. I second IrishMuscle's post.
I see no problem with this. It's just a kid's parents trying to get their kid to be the best at something he is naturally gifted at.
Edit: Did you guys know that Flex Wheeler had this disease as well? Yet Flex still had to take a pretty good amount of drugs and oil to get to where he was.
