Have any of you guys read any of Robert Anton Wilson's stuff (I think he died recently)? You might like it.

"If that observer is a human, the brain limits the amount of information they can register. But any observer - even an inanimate one such as a galaxy - is limited in the information it can store. These limitations in what observers can measure whittle down the number of universes that come into play in cosmological predictions. That means an observer might make a difference in explaining the value of things like dark energy."
And we wonder where are tax dollars are going? Seems to me that "to observe" is an active verb. If that is the case, how can something that is inanimate observe? Well, that would assume intelligence, but how can something that is not alive have intellect?

Perhaps the Universe is animate? I'd much rather see research money going to this than alot of the bs we waste money on......... just my 2 cents.
Personally, I love this stuff!

Of course it is, we are a part of it. Even if we were ( against the realistic probability of such an absurd thought) the only form of intelligent life, we are part of the universe. As long as we observe, the universe observes.
