In general, would you say buffalo (hot) sauce is bad for you?
I feel like it's a good "dressing" for some grilled chicken and if you cut out the Blue Cheese, buffalo grilled chicken seems like a decent options.
Thoughts?
I searched, but all that came up was info about Buffalo Wild Wings... goddamn I love that place

I'm assuming it has a nutritional label? Pretty easy to fit things as small as that in day by day, even on a meal by meal basis. (If you even count sauces)

Well... yea when I apply the Buffalo sauce myself, of course it has a nutritional label...
But like today we're getting a free lunch at work from my boss, and the menu is just all fried chicken and terrible meatball sandwiches...
Im going for the Grilled Chicken Buffalo Sandwich w/ no Blue Cheese........
i figure it cant be that bad

I'm fairly sure that type of buffalo sauce has a lot of butter in it... it isn't just hot sauce (like buffalo wings). Still sounds like a better choice than the fried chicken.

Look at the nutritional label and decide. If it is not there try checking a website.

Buffalo sauce is essentially vinegar, chilis, and butter (or some butter replacement). Most of the stuff you find doesn't use real butter, so it's essentially zero calorie. The only issue is the sodium, if that's the kind of thing that bothers you.

I was thinking of the buffalo sauce you'd see in a restaurant for wings or something.
Sample from restaurant's nutritional info:
CHICKEN STRIPS BASKET - 6 strips
650calories
340fat calories
38g fat
6g sat fat
1090mg sodium
39carbs
KICKIN' BUFFALO CHICKEN STRIPS - 6 strips
910 calories
590 calories from fat
65g fat
6g sat. fat
2260mg sodium
42g carbs
Extra 260 cal and almost 30 more grams of fat just from the buffalo sauce.
Now if it's just hot sauce, that's a different story**MISC LIFTING CREW**

I found a buffalo sauce that is only 5 calories per serving. Granted it's not the best choice, but I put it on a chicken breast and I've still been losing weight.

I didn't know Frank made buffalo sauce. Will have to get!
I would think (but I'm not 100% sure) that most "commercial" Buffalo sauce (i.e. cheaper stuff, usually at restaurants) has some sort of sugar - such as high fructose corn syrup. Some people tend to avoid that stuff. I figured it might be worth mentioning though.I can resist everything except temptation.
