Mixed Approach to Strength and Conditioning (my personal approach)

Hey whats up guys and gals? Hope all is well. Ive decided to keep this log for a couple reasons. Mainly though to show other people my personal approach to strength and conditioning. All of my workouts, with the exception of a few, are designed to the work the body in a natural movement pattern. I dont use all the fancy terms, and alot of my exercises probably dont have the right name, lol, thats ok because Ill be posting videos so when you see them youll most likely know them, and then you can tell me the right name if youd like. haha. anyways, i also have variations of certain exercises, although i probably didnt come up with them, that i discover myself and not on youtube or google or any other website that has exercise videos.

    here is were Im at:

too fat to post a bf%
    225.2lbs
    5'10

this is my second week of cutting, started at 229.8lbs

as of right now, because of my chubbiness, my body doesnt really look like its moving in a fully fluid manner, but as i lose weight, and start implementing my ladder and cone work, along with my stretching program, my body will look more fluid, but for now, its as natural as I can do.

the way i do it, is Ill either train by how my body feels that day and keep track of what im doing, which will in turn end up being a weekly type program that will last for 3-4 weeks. OR, Ill actually sit down and write out a program that will be anywhere from a 10 to 30 day program, and adjust as i go.

Now to the Mixed part of my "philosophy" if you want to call it that......I also implement:

Bodybuilding, but on for 1-3 weeks at a time, and no more than 6 weeks total a year
Menzer/Yates HIT, for periods of 2-3 weeks at a time, and as needed, but this is kinda like a deload type thing for me
Powerbuilding, with more emphasis on the power aspect.

I also use BW exercises and and Just got the Olympic rings, which I havent used yet and probably should watch the dvd that came with it! lol

Im posting this in the Sports Training Journal section because a majority of my training is for "functional" strength, which pertains more to mixed sports.

here are a few vids, i hope the links work:

this is my version of hang cleans

one last thing, this is my own personal approach, if you dont agree, its cool, just dont put me down, tell me I have no clue or anything negative. this is a positive thing for me, and may help someone who is looking for something new to try, or work in to their own program.

Yes the bag tossing worse explosiveness but it also works just about every muscle in your body at the same time. The things you see is not everything that I have these are just 2 videos. I have more stuff but I don't have anything that I don't need if that makes sense.

Thanks for all your complements man thank you very much you.
