From what I hear, the general ideal body size is lean muscle and not someone jacked up (soccer player > bodybuilder). But of course everyone has a preference. I prefer Jessica Biel over Jessica Alba, doesn't mean they're both hot.

edit: i've found so many girls in hs that would go against me cause I was big and jacked or w/e, then as i went into my senior year and into college, i found it easier to find girls attracted to that sort of thing, especially if you're not overly jacked but enough to get attention

Personal preferrance. Some girls like skinny, some like athletic guys, some like jacked guys and some like girls.

. Just like some guys like skinny girls, some like for them to have some junk in the trunk, some like athletic girls and some like bodybuilders. It is just as random as some people only dating someone with blonde hair.

Regardless of what they say, A LOT of girls like muscular dudes, not Ronnie Coleman big, but muscular. Like my current GF, all her ex's were built like skinny emos and she said she even had a preference for skinny dudes, now she's like "after being with you I don't think I could ever go back with a guy built like my ex".

girls like guys who dont give a **** about what the girls think about their looks. It just so happens that muscular guys happen to have more inner confidence about their looks compared to fatasses (usually, not always though).

Most that say they don't like "big muscles" are thinking of the huge, bulky type. Good, lean muscle is almost always attractive.

This. Confidence goes a lot further than body type. Sure some girls won't like muscled up dudes, just like some won't like skinny emo girlboys.

Bottom line, build your body how you want it to look. If you like the lean fitness model look, go for it. If you want to get built, go for it. I'm a big dude and I'm comfortable and confident as such. Girls pick up on that, it's all about how you carry yourself.

I've come to notice that chicks around the 18-19 year old mark seem to go for the skinnier guys, but as they get older tend to go for muscle more. I guess they realise these skinny guys can't really protect them too well.

Me and my mate are the same age and he is tall and skinny, while I'm about 5'11 and more of a muscular build. We go clubbing a fair bit and we mainly try to initiate things on the dancefloor... so how you look is obviously a big factor in this regard. Well he definitely gets more 18-19 year olds then me, while I tend to have the most success with chicks around 21 to 27, while he doesn't have much at all. It seems young girls seem to go for guys that look more feminine then anything before progressing to the more rugged and manly look.
