Woodson is very adamant on not starting JR.

I think he doesn't want to bounce JR back and forth, so he is forcing him to get accustomed to his 6th man role, which I think he first perfectly. I don't think James White will contribute at all during the season, so Knicks fans shouldn't expect to see much from him tonight.

Amar'e Stoudemire will be out two to three weeks after an MRI revealed a ruptured poplieal cyst on his knee.

Stoudemire won't need surgery, as the injury requires rest and treatment.

Carmelo Anthony could start for the New York Knicks at power forward until Stoudemire returns.

I have a feeling opening day is going to be postponed with all that is going on. Not sure if power will be restored or that the subways will be up by Thursday, or that they want that mass of traffic backing up roads when they're still trying to bring emergency vehicles all over

Mayor Bloomberg announced the subway will take 4-5 days to restore, at least. The amount of damage is insane.

Thinking opening night is gonna be a bust.

it's safe to say the knicks are actually bake

i didn't take the win against miami too seriously due to our unusually high % in 3pt fg's, but today's win against the sixers showed a dedication to scrappy defense and offensive ball movement done in a matter not seen in over a decade.
