This "Old Shogun" is back, bollocks needs to stop.
Old Shogun would have gotten picked apart and crushed by Machida in a few minutes. Did Old Shogun ever fight such a disciplined fight? Did old Shogun keep his hands up more often than not?

This.
Shogun might be back, but to use that same style that he used to destroy people in PRIDE would've been suicide. Instead, he played it smarter, and in my opinion, won the fight. Too bad he got screwed in the decision.

That isn't necessarily true; Shogun never fought a person who fights like Lyoto in Pride, and thus, wouldn't have adopted that strategy, and wouldn't have needed to curtail his aggression in the manner he did.

It's not even the aggression, but Shogun has stated before that he is making an effort to keep his hands higher and his guard tighter since entering the UFC. Pride Shogun would have been on such a tear, that he would have just gone in like normal.
