personal attacks in commercials

Do they make you dislike the person/company involved? I mean, kind of like Burger King advertising their one dollar double cheeseburger. They add how it's "bigger than McDonald's." I'm not going to boycott them because of this, but it definitely adds to reasons to respect them less.

It's similar to all those politicians that advertise all the wrongdoings of their opponents instead of what they are going to do/could do. Do they realize how much respect they lose?

Well the Mac ads backfired, for me at least, and a 95% market share..

Yeah...glad you mentioned those. I don't like them much. No problem with the computers, great for people doing artsy shyt like graphic design and such. But, they rag on windows too much.

well mcdonalds sales are up so i dont think they care.....everyone knows mcdonalds double is better then burger kings, its just free advertisment for mcdicks
