you see the difference is the angels still won this game, even with the move from the manager. and he ptiched really well, except for a 4.26 ERA and 3 earned runs to 2 strikeouts and im not saying pettite will implode, but its obvious the angels would rather see him in game six

You didn't win that game off Pettitte. You had to go into extra innings to win. If you could only muster up 3 runs against him in your home stadium in over 6 innings it doesn't look good for you at the Bronx.

It's funny that are you cheering that you are facing Pettitte. However Pettitte has been solid all year. He has 100x more post season experience then Saunders. He has pitched in big games like this before. He will get the job done.

i can say it took you extra innings to beat us at home as well.......... and the angels arent playing up to the best of their ability......... when this goes game 7 and you guys lose, like ive been saying at least you have A-rod being clutch to be thankful, and hope next year Tex becomes more than just a 20 mil defensive replacement for giambi.

He was a lot more then a defensive replacement when he flat out owned Oliver. If your bullpen keeps pitching the way it has you won't be winning ****.

And about the extra innings thing. Ever heard of home field advantage? The home team is supposed to have the upper hand, so it's less expected for them to lose on their own field. I know losing is losing, but it's more pathetic to barely win in extra innings on your home field, than to lose in extra innings while playing away.

you're preaching to the choir with this. my one hope and thus far has worked out is that they dont get on the Angels starters early enough to where they have to go to the bullpen.

Yeah...your point? The second half of my post was more of a general statement for both teams; the animosity on my part was due to me quoting you and not someone I enjoy talking with. Both teams have barely won at home, in extra innings, I am obviously aware. I'm just saying, the Angels have not won by more than a run at home like the Yankees have. They have struggled, even with a 4 run first inning last night. Yankees have won 2 games with a 3+ run deficit, with one being 9 runs. The angels have won both of their games by 1: in extra innings for one game, and after blowing a huge lead in the second. Not exactly dominance.
