I know I've seen leg press/hack squat combos in one unit before, but I cannot seem to find any now.
If anyone can give good suggestions for a single unit that does both, and is commercial grade, I'd be thankful

I had a Tuff Stuff sled a few years ago. Great quality. Super smooth, too. If I had the room for one now, I'd be looking for another. Before I purchased it I looked at Parabody and Body Solid, too. I preferred the Tuff Stuff unit. But if a Parabody or Body Solid sled turned up for sale locally at a good price and I could fit it in my basement, I'd be very tempted.

unfortunately, neither the tuffstuff or parabody, or bodysolid is anywhere near what I would call 'commercial grade'
tehy are light duty, 500-700lb weight limited, home gym units
I would not even bother with something like that, that my wife can max out
The only ones that handle serious weight are the upper end Yukon, The New York BB TDS super hip sled, etc...
you won't find a $500 'commercial grade' unit unless some gym (which probably does not use the combo machine) is going out of business
so maybe you need to define "commercial grade" in your eyes, because for me it means "holds as much as, or more, than I can press"lift big 2 get big

The limit on the Parabody (no longer in production; craigslist is the only option) is 1200 pounds, if loaded with 100's, and 900 pounds, if loaded with 45's.
Here's a pic of mine, loaded with 940; 4-100's, and 12-45's. (I only have 4- 100's)
This is as much as I can load, unless I get more 100's. Even at this weight, the machine is solid and smooth-operating, and it's about 10 years old.No brain, no gain.
