Lol I think Alberta is one of the only places in North America where you don't have front plates. Amiright?

I like how Ohio requires two plates but every bordering state only requires the rear, I hate going over the state lines and seeing the front of peoples cars look twice as good cus no fricken license plate is mounted there.

that is complete bs... had same thing done to me when had a roll over at the end of a month. ended up with over $2000 worth of tickets. Judge dismissed all of them afrter reading first one
cop said i didnt turn on blinker when i rolled through other lanes

Go back to where ever you got your windows tinted and get proof that yours are above the legal limit.
You live in Cali and 5% is the limit. Go to the shop that you got it done at, get proof, fight ticket, win.

Yes.
Older cars as well are not required to have front plates, even though it is the law, there are exceptions... and that is for cars that do not have a spot for the front plates.
