Fiber!!
I am REEEAALLY trying to increase my fiber as much as possible (for obvious reasons!)..I am currently taking some fiber tablets and drinking the p-husks, as well as eating veggies with my meals.
However, wanted to know what foods you all suggest that are keto friendly and HIGH in fiber? I KNOW I need to increase my fiber intake daily. Just seems difficult to do on keto....ugh!

i'm the same way. I have to take my fiber supps to keep my fiber up.
Avocados is a good one though. they have tonnes of fiber. Also, look into flax meal and oil.

awesome, thank you. I just bought flax meal tonight and I am ready to use it! Any suggestions on how to use it? I wasnt sure and just ended up mixing it with water tonight. I added a few spoonfuls of canned pumpkin, cinnamon and splenda into my little mushy goodness....not too bad!

Honestly, that doesn't sound very appetizing. lol
I've used flax meal a couple of times this week and i think it made a huge difference in my system. A good difference.
I used the flax meal as a breading on my chicken and made chicken fingers in olive oil. It was really good. I also added A LOT to the chili i made last night. You could add it to anything really. I'm going to try and add it to more of my foods.
Also, if you search "flax meal" in the recipe forum, there's tonnes of recipes using flax meal as teh main ingredient.

Add flax meal to your protein shakes.
Phylum husk powder is good too for fiber but it does not have much of a taste.

I will put mine in a lot of what i make. chili, anything with ground beef works great. I also find flax meal works quickly if you know what mean.
You can also bake with it. I going to make some brownies with it and splenda. yum

OMG.. flax meal is my new bestie. I thank you sooo much for the suggestion! It has seriously seriously helped my lil problem.
I find myself sprinkling it on everything now and STILL love my littl concoction that I made with the canned pumpkin and water. Its sorta like oatmeal..with better benefits.
ps...is canned pumpkin okay on keto? It has a good amount of fiber. I am pretty addicted to that as well. Doesn't take much to please me!!

I know, that flax meal is great stuff. Keeps me going if you know what i mean.
I don't know about canned pumpkin, you'll have to look at the label and figure out what the net carbs are.

This is the best.
1/4 C Ground Flax Meal (0 carbs-the kind you can get at Wal-Mart)
1 T Cocoa Powder (2 carbs)
1/4 t Baking Powder (1 carb)
2 T Melted Butter (0 carbs)
2 T Davinci's Carmel Sugar free Syrup (0 carbs) - optional
1 Egg (0-1)
How To Prepare: Melt butter in a small microwave safe dish, mine was about 2 1/2 inches x 5 inches and about 1 inch deep. Mix in all ingredients and microwave for 1 minute in the same dish.
Let cool slightly and enjoy.
I used to eat one almost every night when I was on keto. About 400 or so cals. Quite tasty. Sometime's I'd throw a bit of instant coffee, almond extract, vanilla, unsweetened coconut in it. Very good stuff.
