my browser takes me to random sites when i click links (serious)
I got some kind of spyware or virus from going to a bad torrent site. I havent even dloaded anything. Now when click links sometimes it sends me to random sites with both firefox and IE. I've tried scanning and removing stuff with malwarebytes anti-malware and ad-aware... it found several things and got rid of most of them but i still have this problem... is there any program that might fix this? Anyone know?

I had something similar before, wasn't able to get rid of it, eventually my comp completely stopped booting up and I had to reformat (srs)

You have a very deep-rooted virus. I tried EVERYTHING when I had the same problem. HijackThis won't show a damn thing, and any cleaner programs in/out of safe mode are useless.
I had to wipe the whole thing.

ComboFix, but you should talk to someone who can read your hijack this log prior to running it because supposedly it can screw stuff up more if there's a conflict.

thanks for the replies guys... the future is looking grim with regards to this... Reformatting may be the only option.
