Thumbs up ON Hydro whey

I stoped buying Optimum nutrition because I felt like their product quality when down hill( I dont know if they changed anything, might of just been me). So I thought I would take a chance and try their new whey, well it was great. It was the best tasting shake I have had in a long time. I bought the Velocity vanilla and it was like a vanilla milk shake, the powder was light and fuffy and mixed very well. ON has won me back with the Platinum Hydro whey.

I bought it because it has more protein 30g and 140 calories no sugar and a little over 8g of bcaa. They say that is the fastest and purest whey but I dont think I would know or could even tell the difference.

1972girl,
Very glad to hear that - your support is hugely appreciated.
And hopefully we'll keep you happy with some of the new products and flavors we have planned for the future.

MrMostly is on a distinguished road. (+10)
Looking at the label, there are some real problems with it for me.

Price - It really comes at a super premium price.

Hydro - its hydrolyzed or has hydro in it sure, but to what degree. This is usually expressed in a percentage or in a resulting molecular weight. Since it doesn't say more precisely, you wonder. Also, they also include digestive enzymes. If it were truly well hydrolyzed, why would the product need extra enzymes?

Sucralose - many health conscious folks try to avoid this artificial sweetener.

Salt - whats the point in adding extra salt to protein powder?
