    Varsity tryouts next week

    My school's varsity tryouts are October 28-29th Ive been practicing all summer and made some good gains now its time to put them through the test. What should I do for the week before to tryouts. I want to be as explosive and energized as possible, any tips?

    You're 6'4''? Just show up, lol. Don't do any serious conditioning (or anything else that could burn you out) 1-2 days before tryouts.

    Make sure your diet is good leading up to it. I've you should have a good carb meal the night before for dinner. Make sure you're hydrated as well.

    Yea stay out of the weight room and the pick up games. But I'd still shoot around make sure your shot/dribble/timing isn't rusty when tryouts start.

    EDIT: ur talking about basketball right o.o?

    Made varsity we have 9 seniors and im 1 of 3 juniors so i probably wont get alot of playing time.They got me down low at 4 and 5...I wanna play the wing positions though
