~ Beating My Basline With MILLENNIUM ~
Lets Get Started:
* I'm 6'5. Currently weighing in at about 225, give or take a few Lbs.
I was pretty thin and have added a decent amount of size/strength since starting this whole lifting weights thing about 3 years ago.
* My goal during this log will be to see if these products can help me push past my current Baseline numbers in which I have just recently returned to..
Over the summer I had taken a much needed break from the gym and obviously my strength and size both suffered a bit. As well as putting on a few unwanted pounds of fat.
* I have not been taking any sort of Creatine or BA supplement since some time before summer, so this should be an excellent way to assess the effectiveness of CRE-O2 and CARNAGE.
* I have used MST products prior to this and have always been a fan. MST was one of the first companies I had any supplementation experience with. I want to thank you guys one last time for choosing me. Now lets get to the good stuff..
==================================================
As far as training goes, it's been pretty chaotic lately. I am just getting back in to the real swing of things. I guess this is pretty much an outline of my weekly routine.
Sun: Cardio/Abs/Sometimes Off.
Mon: Chest
Tues: OFF
Wed: Deadlifts ( I alternate weeks from Rack to traditional. Depends on how I feel.)
Thurs:Shoulders
Fri: Legs
Sat: OFF
Don't hold me anything though. My schedule is primarily based around my children and school. Overall this is pretty much the layout of things for me. I really do need to get a little more organized and try keeping better track of things. I guess that is a 2nd goal of mine for this Log. Get organized.
I tend to eat a lot of whatever while trying to make sure I am at least getting the necessary nutrients in to continue growing. I do not eat a lot of bad things, but tend to have my fair share of pizza and fun things when the mood strikes for the kids.
I will post some examples throughout the Log if anyone is really interested in what Im eating.
I can promise I will make the most of this opportunity and provide honest feedback as I move along.
Please feel free to comment and critique as well! Constructive criticism is always a must and is always very welcome.
Time to figure out what's on the dinner menu for the kiddos. Log will officially start on Wednesday.

T, this stuff will blow you away
02 is one of VERY few supps that truly is greater than the sum of its parts
MSTs entire line has blown me away, probably the most effective and reasonably priced stuff out there
i would say subbed, but i would be lying, no need to check back as i already know what the results will be, crazy strength gains and endurance

2 Day Update
Wed. October 21, 2009:
Dead Lifts:
-- 2x10x225, 2x10x315, 7x405, 1x495, 5x405, 8x315, 10x225
BB Rows:
-- 4x12x135
Pull Ups:
-- 4x12xBW
I felt kinda bad from the beginning. I had a fever going from the night before. I wasn't feeling sick, just had a fever..
Besides the fever, I go to put my music on and the right ear piece stops working. WTF! From the get go I was not motivated and then having to listen to the crap that the gym plays just topped it off.
The DL were still pretty good. I did not reach the goal on 495 that I wanted, but I'll take it.
I just kinda went through the motions after that. It was very difficult for me to get in to any kind of rhythm without my music. There's always next week. -Rack Deads-

DB Side Raise:
-- 10x25, 10x25, 8x30, 6x30
Seated DB Shrug:

Fantastic WO today. I felt great and I had a new pair of headphones!
I don't think I noticed a whole lot yesterday after taking the CRE-O2 cause I was in a crappy mood, but today there was a definite difference in my breathing. Similar to the effects of when I used the Cordygen VO2 when it first came out.
The pumps in my shoulders and biceps were nice too.
Outside of that, everything felt pretty normal. I do not take any other Pre WO product, so Im interested to see how this plays out. I believe I have read somewhere that people were reporting a pretty nice pump from the CRE-O2. As well as other benefits.
Oh yeah, the BA tingles were out of control yesterday when I took the first dose. Jeez, it was pretty intense. Then the Post WO dose put it over the top.
Today I did not notice the tingles nearly as much, but I can still feel it on my ears and face a bit.
Great start to this thing and I will be getting some starting photos up. Everyone have a great night.

I always get the BA tingles as well, not super bad but enough to notice that they're there... I found that the combo gives a pretty good pump, even better if you take the CRE-02 about 45 min before the workout and the Carnage 20 min before the workout. When I do that it really seems like they're both kicking in around the same time. On occasion I also like to add some caffeine pre-workout as well, making it a truely, intense, pre-workout combo.

*Updates will come later today or tomorrow. I need to eat and get the Friday night kid festivities underway..

I will have to update this with Fridays work out later tonight. I have been lost in a sea of house cleaning and preparing for my son's birthday party. He's 6 today.. Time goes by WAY too fast.
Have a great day and rest of your weekend!

Friday + Sunday WO
Fri. October 23, 2009:
BB Squat:
-- 15x135, 2x8x225, 5x305, 2x355 -PR-, 2x375 -PR-, 5x325, 5x305, 10x265, 10x235, 12x175, 12x135
Leg EXT:
-- 5x10x250
Great Leg WO! I felt great! I had a little help on the 2nd rep with the 375, but I'll take it. I was not feeling fatigued at all while doing the squats. It seemed as though I could keep going even longer, but it was getting to the point that my legs would not do what my mind wanted. LoL.
The Leg Ext were not too tough for the first 3 sets, but the 4-5 set was brutal. I didnt stop till the end though. I am paying for it today too.
=================================
Sun. October 25, 2009:
Incline BB Press: -Low-
-- 15x135, 10x185, 10x225, 4x275, 2x295 -PR-, 9x245, 10x225
T-Bar Rows:
-- 10x3PL, 10x4PL, 7x5PL, 1x7PL --> 5x6PL --> 6x5PL --> 8x4PL
Inline BB Press - high- *SS* In. DB Curl:
-- 7x8x135 *7x5x40*
DB Fly:
-- 3x8x45 - this was more for the stretch.
Another great WO.. This has been the trend for me the past 2 weeks. I lost weight and strength over the summer from not going to the gym regularly and not eating appropriately. I weighed myself today. I was 227 around May/June, then dropped to about 224ish over the summer. Since I have gotten back in to the routine of things I have gained all my weight back and then some. I was very happy to see the scale sitting at 232 this morning. I must being doing something right..
My heaviest was 234. So I am now looking to surpass that.
As far as the Cre-O2 and Carnage, I have not noticed too much yet. Time will tell. Like I mentioned the first day, I seem to be breathing easier after taking the Cre-O2. Similar to when I take C-VO2.
Time to eat.. Everyone enjoy the rest of your day!
Here is a piece of my daily motivation.. I have a friend who was diagnosed with A.L.S. over 5 years ago. She is still functional and fighting like hell to live her life. We celebrated her 5th year continuing her life at the A.L.S. walk in Sept. She is a phenomenal human being and anytime I get down and think I have things bad, I think of her and how she fights daily to do things as simple as brush her teeth..
If you have not heard of A.L.S. or might be interested in learning more about it, visit her personal site. askaboutaimee.com. I promise you will not regret even skimming through some of her writing.

Here is the other part of my daily motivation..

Unscheduled off day. I woke up with a bit of a cold or something to that effect.. Either way, I wasn't feeling so great so I stayed home and slept today. Tomorrow is my normal off day, so I will try and get in to make up for today.
everyone have a great night!

Tues. October 27, 2009:
DB Flat:
-- 10x75, 10x80, 10x95, 10x110, 2x5x120 -PR- --> 8x100 --> 8x95
BB Shoulder Press - Behind Head -:
-- 15x95, 10x145, 8x165 --> 15x115, 13x115
REV Pec Dec:
-- 2x15x130, 10x160, 8x190 --> 5x160 --> 5x130
DB Side Lat Raise:
-- 8x25, 2x8x30, 8x35
Low Cable Cross *SS* Side Lat Raise:
-- 5x10x20 *5x10x10*
WG Pull Up - Behind Head:
-- 3x10xBW
Sick Wo today!! I could not have ask for it to go any more perfect! My strength was up. I hit a PR on the DB Press with NO spot this time.. Twice! That was a freakin excellent way to start off the WO!. I stalled on the 5th rep in the 2nd attempt of the 120's, but would not give up and pushed that fukin thing up!
I felt like I could keep going today too. NO issues with Lactic acid today. The normal burn I get was non-existent.. The only reason I stopped was cause I couldn't lift my arms anymore. I still can not lift my arms past my waistline..
I don't have a whole lot else to say. I'm stoked I hit that DB PR! I can remember within the year my goal was to hit the 110's for 8..
Tomorrow is DL day. Im gonna be doin Rack Deads this week. I may have to throw Legs in to the mix tomorrow as well. It looks like Im gonna miss Friday's WO due to my sons Halloween party at school..
Everyone have a great night!

Thurs. October 29, 2009:
BB Front Squat:
-- 2x10x135, 10x185, 5x225, 4x275, 5x275, 15x225 (rest pause)
Leg Press:
-- 10x12-Plates, 8x16-Plates, 6x18-Plates, 5x20- Plates, 5x24-Plates --> 7x18-Plates --> 18x12-Plates --> 20x8-Plates (Knees to my chest. No half reps or cheating. I did have to help push on my legs a bit through the last 2 reps on 24-Plates.)
I was not in the mood to be in the gym. I am super sore from everything I have done in the gym this week and work has started picking up, so I have been running extra there.. This is the time of the year I hate working at U.P.S.
I did make myself go though, since I will not be making it in tomorrow. I needed to get some sort of Leg WO in.
Strength was great once I got in to the swing of things. My back has been a little tender the past few days, so I stuck to the 2 exercises. I can barely walk right, so I got the job done. Next gym day will be Sunday.
Great thing with the drop set, No Lactic acid issues.. I Love that!
Everyone have a great night!

Its not bad normally. During the "peak" time it sucks ass though.. 12am- 930am work time blows..
Fantastic WO tonight.. I do not normally go on a sunday night, but i was feeling ****ty all morning.
I tied reps PR on DB Bench. Beat a PR on HS ISO Bench and hit a reps PR on Rack Deads..
I forgot how much I love working back/chest together. I will update the actual WO in the morning. Family movie night is about to begin.

Updates........
Sunday November 1, 2009:
DB Press: Just did these kinda as a warm up while I waited for the rack.
-- 5x85, 5x100, 5x110, 5x120, 5x120
Rack Dead Lifts:
-- 2x10x225, 2x10x315, 8x405, 4x495 Rep PR, 6x405, 8x315, 10x225
HS ISO Bench: -weight is per arm
-- 15x90, 8x115, 2x3x140 PR, 10x100, 13x90, 17x45
My main focus was to increase on rep on my rack deads this week. Everything else was a bonus. A decrease in Recovery time between sets was very much noticeable. Any day I do DL, it takes me forever to recover between sets. This is the reason I tend to only do a small amount on any day that I do them. If it wasn't for my forearms cramping, I think I may have gotten another rep or two in on the 495.

There was nothing really great to brag about on this day. I did some shoulders. I have been focusing a lot on building up my rear delts lately. IMO they have been lacking compared to everything else. I kept the weights pretty light in order to focus a lot on form and getting the most out of every single rep or movement.. My energy levels were pretty low. My sleep has been absolute garbage lately.
=================================
Wed. November 4, 2009:
Over Head Tri Ext: J
-- 10x85, 8x95, 9x100, 7x110, 2x6x120 PR -->7x85
DB Curls: Heavy then drop set with much lighter weight.
-- 3x75--> 12x35, 3x75--> 12x35, 4x75-->11x35, 5x75-->11x35
Dip Machine:
-- 5x12x285 - maxed out the machine.
Tri Press Down:
-- 3x10x95, 10x95--> 13x75--> 12x50--> 17x35
Pretty good arm WO. If my right wrist was not so sore, I was going to move to the 80's on the DB curls. It would start hurting too bad if I tried go higher on the reps with heavier weight.
The pump has been pretty nice since I started using this combo. Endurance and recovery overall is improving. Little to no soreness in the following days after any of my WO's.
According to my numbers strength is on the rise. Little at a time. It is nice to go in and beat my previous weeks goal each time.
Tomorrow is Leg day and I will be looking to go pretty big on Squats. I expect another PR to pop up tomorrow.
Today is an off day. With the kids at school Im going to try and catch up on some sleep. Everyone have a great day!! More updates to come after tomorrows Leg day.

Fri. November 6, 2009:
BB Squat:
-- 2x8x135, 8x225, 5x315, 5x365 -PR-, 2x405 -PR-, 5x315, 2x8x225
Front Squat:
-- 8x225, 8x185, 10x135
SLDL:
-- 4x8x135
Leg EXT:
-- 8x295, 2x8x345, 8x295
I Love when you begin your day with a plan and are able to follow it all the way through. It seems any time I have the determination to reach a goal, I dwell on it from the moment I wake up in the morning until I walk up to the weights. I was NOT leaving the gym without hitting 405. The best part is, the weight seemed lighter on my back then I thought it would be. It was a bitch to push back up though.
My strength continues to rise. My recovery has been outstanding. Endurance is great.
Im really liking the CRE-O2. Im definitely noticing a difference in the above 3 mentioned areas. Enough so that Im considering picking up another bottle to continue it a little longer.
Im off to eat. Everyone have a great night and enjoy the weekend..

I totally agree. Upping squat/DL numbers are far more rewarding for me than "random dude A" asking me "how much you bench bro?"

Sunday November 8, 2009:
BB Incline: - Low
-- 10x185, 5x275, 3x285 -PR-, 2x300 -PR- --> 10x225--> 13x185
BB Incline: - High - I continued these from the above drop set and then 30 sec rest in between.
-- 3x12x155
DB Row:
-- 12x110, 10x120, 12x120
Pec Dec:
-- 2x12x345, 9x345, 5x345
Bent BB Row:
-- 15x135, 10x185, 10x225
The great Workouts keep rackin up. My strength was great yet again. I would have finished out with a few more sets of BB Rows and then some stretching, but this guy I used to know kept trying to talk to me. I ran out of time.
My focus was pretty intense during my WO too. It seems with my strength and weight gains lately my drive when Im at the gym has been a little different. A lot of the time I find myself going through the motions and then leaving. Lately my mood and focus have returned when Im in the gym. It feels great.
Off day today and tomorrow. Deads on Wed though. Im excited to see if I can improve another rep on the Rack Deads.
Everyone have a great night!! More PR's, btw..

It amazing what a few really good workouts in a row along with some PR's will do to your mindset. It just seems to bring everything back into focus and really gets you mentally back on the right path. I'm the exact same way, the focus I've had since starting this combo has been intense to say the least...
