Quick advice on RTD's
Hey Guys,
Quick question, usually I'd just search but I'm kind of in a hurry (having tonsils removed tmw and want to place and order ASAP so I can get them in within the next day or so).
I'm not worried to much about the cost and/or the nutritional profile (as long as it ups my protein take i don't care)... I just want something the tastes good, with lots of different flavors available. I'm going to be in a lot of pain and not be able to eat anything good for weeks so just want the best tasting RTD to hold me over. I just don't think these Ensures and popsicles I have are going to cut it...
Thanks,

Any reason for RTDs over MRPs or protein powders?
If you're looking for great tasting RTDs with an exceptional profile, taste, and price...buy Labrada RTDs. I've seen them for $29.99/case.
If you decide to go with MRPs or Protein Powders...there are tons of those available as you know. In fact, if you don't care about nutritional profile, I'd simply buy any whey/casein blend...UP, Syntha-6, ProV60 PLUS, etc.

Just convenience, I'm going to knocked out from the surgery and pain meds...less mess, no clean up/dishes...
Forgot all about the Labrada RTD's, used drink the banana creams all the time...
I was hoping for something with a wide selection of flavors too, maybe some fruit flavors or "lighter" isolate" rtds that would have less of a chance upsetting my stomach (i.e. NOT puking after tonsils removed = very good thing)
Thanks

Unfortunately, Chocolate/Vanilla/Strawberry/Banana are going to be the predominant flavors among the MRP RTDs out there. You'll see Peanut Butter Chocolate from time to time, but that's about it. Also, there aren't really variety packs offered from any company.
If you want isolate, you'll have to settle for WPI, which will allow for light & fruity flavors. If you want MRP, you'll really more than likely have to settle for creamy RTDs in the 4 flavors I've listed above.
Trust me...I've done the RTD research.

We're always growing, just moved into a fantastic new facility and are pushing forward.
Number 28 on the bb.com store. Not bad at all, but we're looking to do much better!

Yeah that's what I figured, I've done a lot of RTD research and selection is kind of slim (well at least in regards to Meal Replacement). Labrada has always been my favorite (banana creme FTW!) and Muscle Milk is good in a pinch (has some flavor selections at least).
Well I think Root Beer MM RTD is the winner for this , at least that's a little different...

Thanks, having trouble finding anyone carrying the RTD flavors (other than the MET-RX website where they're like 52 bucks...)

Any reason why RTD over powders? If you do not care about profile, try Muscle Juice! Awesome flavor (lots of malto I think, ton of sugar/fat if I remember)!
BSN makes some good dessert proteins called "BSN Lean Dessert".
The Fudge Pudding and Cinnamin Pie were great. Or was it Apple Pie? IDK but is was great.

Also, I think Ensure tastes great also, but thats my opinion, I'm not picky as long as it has no mint flavor in it its good IMO.
