    6 pack after being overweight

I was wondering if anyone on the fourms has been 80-100 lbs over weight and managed to end up with a 6 pack ? at 6'2 my start weight was 325 and im down to 217 now and its going well, as my body fat % gets lower I started thinking, Is it possible to achieve a 6 pack after you have been overweight or is the skin to stretched to achieve it ?

Well, I've lost 75 pounds so far, after being about 60 pounds over the normal weight range for my height, and It's really starting to appear which is exciting. It is definitely possible, keep at it

It is possible! I lost about 60lbs and I have abs now. You may end up with some stretch marks, but I think the skin will be tight enough to show abdominal definition.

Can't speak from personal experience yet, but I've seen it done many times on these forums. Hell, I can at least see the outline of my abs though...

yes, it is possible. Junior year in high school i had a 33% bodyfat and at the end of freshman year in college i got down to around a 8-9% bodyfat and I had a 6 pack. I wasnt shredded, but it was there. I had stretch marks on my sides, but when you are tan, they hide easier.
Good luck and keep up the hard work!

279 to 191 @ 6-2. I'm bulking now but I did get to the point where you could see 5 and 6. I do have some loose skin but hoping to pack in some muscle with weighted abs and deadlifts to hopefully tighten the skin up with muscle underneath. I'll let you know come May after I bulk and cut
I Rep back always. Put it in comment.

500+ will 100% get repped back.

    Talking Excited!

Have an amazing amount of loose skin and this forum gives me hope. Went from 300 pounds to 194 pounds at 13 percent body fat, in about 6 years. I always have my mind set on that six pack.... Tightening dem obliques and stretching that skin. The idea of filling my skin is what keeps me going!

I am trying to get there. At 6'2", you have a ways to go but keep at it! I am 189 and still no six pack at 6'4". It's tough....
