LONDON (Reuters) - Many prehistoric Australian aboriginals could have outrun world 100 and 200 meters record holder Usain Bolt in modern conditions.
Some Tutsi men in Rwanda exceeded the current world high jump record of 2.45 meters during initiation ceremonies in which they had to jump at least their own height to progress to manhood.
Any Neanderthal woman could have beaten former bodybuilder and current California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in an arm wrestle.

... and how much can the author of the study bench?
I'll bet those prehistoric folks would run even faster if a few of their buddies were introduced to Mssrs. Smith & Wesson, Sturm & Ruger or Heckler & Koch.

I want a Neanderthal brow ridge on my forehead. It would be nice for the birdies to have something to perch on.

Heck, my grandma delivered my mom while picking cotton and went right back to work... with my mom in a sling on her chest.
At least that is the story that was handed down to me.

I remember once reading something about how the bone density of homo spaiens has declined since we first came to be. It stated that early homo sapiens could shake off and walk away from blows that would kill a modern man.

Evolution all the way brother............. I have my encyclopedia of human evolution sitting on the book shelf sandwiched between two Bibles.
Read Dr. Francis Collins book "the language of God", one of the best books ever on the topic.
Imagine if we could find some dna from the earliest homo sapien's, we'd have ourselves one fine prize fighter. Or a great solider!
Neanderthals by the way appear to have a larger average brain capacity to modern man. Now don't that beat all!

While I was in the Army I met a few of the old timers that joined during Vietnam. These were the guys that maxed their PT tests and could ruck at an insane pace for miles upon miles all the while smoking like a diesel engine and never drinking a drop of water.
Also, in for the hawt Neanderthal ladies.

I wonder if Neandertal women had hot bodies. You'd think they would...y'know...if you're into thick women; high bone density and musculature. I bet they packed some serious back.
Just sayin'.
