White Flood, Purple InTrain, and Purple Wraath Reviews

White Flood
I figured I would start with my favorite portion of the Controlled Labs stack, and that is White Flood. It is, without a doubt, one of (if not the) best pre-workout drink I have tried to date. Past pre-workouts include: NaNO Vapor, N.O. Shotgun, N.O. Explode, Superpump 250, Jack3d, and Black Powder.

White Raspberry Flavor: 7/10
I can�t say I was crazy about the flavor, but it wasn�t bad. Very light taste, I think I am just not a fan of raspberry flavored things in general. Better than most others, however.

Mixability: 9/10
Mixed the two scoop serving with 20 ounces of water, mixed well in a shaker, only a tiny bit of residue at the end.

Effectiveness: 10/10
I took it 30 minutes prior to a heavy squat lift day, and I went in feeling crazy strong and pumped. Banged out all the sets I needed to do, and then did two extra sets. And I still probably could have kept going.

Value: 10/10
You get 50 servings for about the same price as most other pre-workouts that give 30 serving. Awesome, awesome value.

Purple InTrain
Easily the next best part of the stack, in my opinion. I don�t have much experience with intra-workout drinks, but I really had a great workout with Purple InTrain.

Purple Raspberry Flavor: 7/10
Tasted better than the White Flood raspberry flavor, but I still wasn�t head-over-heels for the raspberry flavor in general. Any chance there will be a new flavor in the future?

Mixability: 10/10
Mixed fine in 20 ounces of water, no residue.

Effectiveness: 10/10
It really did the job it claims to do. I did not feel any limits in energy or endurance levels. I felt so good, I hopped on the elliptical for a half hour after, and still felt awesome when finishing that. This is after heavy leg work already.

Value: 10/10
Two months supply for $40? Freaking amazing.

Purple Wraath
The only thing I did not particularly like. Tough to judge it�s effectiveness on the short sample experience I had with it, but I can safely say I did not like it�s flavor. It tasted more like iced tea than lemonade to me.

I am not going to write a review on the Green Mag or Golden Gains, simply because long-term use is needed, in my opinion, to give an accurate rating on protein/creatine products. I can say both were quite tasty.

Been using 16-20 ounces of water. I've actually grown to like the flavor more after a few days of using it. The raspberry is just a different flavor than anything I've really been accustomed to I suppose (not sickly sweet like most others).

I like the raspberry flavors as well. I don't like anything too sweet or tart or harsh tasting before or during my workouts.

sorry for hijacking the thread..but i have a question. i just got in my stack of white flood, wraath, intrain, and a sample of green mag earlier today. CAN'T WAIT to use them.. haha.

anyway, my question is about intrain. i know that intrain is to be taken during your workout, but i rather take it preworkout (personal perference i would say and because i do not like to drink anything else besides plain water during my workout). does that make intrain less "potent" in anyway, especially during my workout?

Its one of the best flavors that is out there, you can never go wrong with raspberry flavor.

I never really thought too much about it but I do think intrain is probably the best tasting supplement (other than a few protein powders when mixed with milk) i have tried. mainly because its NOT too sweet. unlike 99% of all other supplements out there (all controlled labs products being part of that 1 % of course)

I have been around the block a couple of times and have tried to many supps to write them all down. All I take now is controlled labs. I no longer experiment with different products..........I just stick with tried and true. Love the products.

sounds good to me, imo it is the best around as well, as green mag is very tough to beat
