why cant i play for a real football team?
well i'll try to keep it short. We lost last night to a good farmboy football team 63-7. We also lost last week 35-10...but we were winning at halftime. We will lose this week to another good team.
Our coaches our so stupid. We dont weight lift. We dont do hitting drills. He gives the varsity the saturday morning practice off after we lose 63-7. No one on the team takes him serously. Our defensive back and linebackers coach are good but besides them it's bad. Our play calling is bad, they cant choose whether they want to run or pass. They try to install a new offense (t-gun zone read which is what west virginia used) which is really complicated week 8 of the season.
Our seniors are weak. Physically and just attitude wise. I am in 10th grade and have been playing football since 2nd. My peewee coaches are tougher then it is now. Everyone on the team is more concerned with how they look then how they play.

lol j/k bro! if ya cant take it try a transfer! unfortuantly there are alot of high schools out there, way more than there are good coaches!
alot of schools have this problem and all i can tell ya is improve attitude wise ur self try to be a leader and start lifting sessions with some of the players with out the coaches!
if the way the team is going bothers you leave the team or stand up and fix it!
lebron james put me into the red!!!! :(

Every team goes through down years. I was starting guard on a Division 1 team many years ago. My first year on the team we were winless. Next year, 7 - 4 and in a bowl game. Things change, teams mature, players get better. As long as you are giving it your best, it will get beter. I coach a high school team and last year, we were undefeated going into the state playoffs. This year, we are 2 - 5. My team last year had alot of seniors step up. This year, I'm heavy in lower grades. This year, we are struggling but I guarantee that if my boys continue to play hard, next year we will be a force.

Your in Ohio, stick with wrestling and drop football.
I live in texas at a 5A school that produces good players, example: Drew Brees.
So i quit football and went with wrestling, and now wish i lived up north where wrestling is the main sport of a school, not football.

Football is very big up here in Ohio, as well. But Ohio does produce wrestlers at a very consistent pace. But Cincinnati Colerain, STEUBENVILLE, St. Xavier, Cleveland Glenville, and Cardinal Mooney are usually all very good.
If you're not having fun, transfer, but if you have friends there and are having fun, just stick it out. I had a choice as a sophomore in high school to move to a crappy school, and play for 3 years, my family was struggling financially and it would have helped, and playing all 3 years would have been fantastic, but I stuck with my school and even though I got boned occasionally, and our coach made questionable decisions at times, I still learned more about football at my school than I would have there.
Your case sounds opposite though, as you sound like you should go from a crap school to a good one, I was going from a good to a bad, or would have.

Our defensive coaches are tough and good its just they dont put the right players in but the offense they just make the crappiest call..real life example 3rd and 17....pistol 40 draw

i LOLed
Having a bad team is somewhat of a nuisance if you are trying to get recruited, as many scouts will not even bother to come out.
Just keep doing what you're doing and do not think about the wins and losses. Hopefully a scout will show, and you'll be limelight of your team.
