Bulging_Bicep's Training Log

I dont really know what to say. I haven't looked at anything outside the Misc in years. Nonetheless, this website is called bodybuilding.com so I figure I should try actually working out. I haven't worked out regularly since I was a freshman in highschool and I graduated highschool 2.5 years ago. My main problem is I have a problem staying motivated in the gym and usually fizzle out after a few weeks. I'm going to need all of your support, help, and advice to stay with it this time. Tomorrow, Im going to LA Fitness and buying a membership, I've been wanting to join a gym for some time because that way Ill have access to a swimming pool which is great cardio as well as a steam room and a hottub which is a bonus.

Some initial supplements I have:

Ultimate Man multivitamin
ON 100% Whey

Another big problem is going to be my diet. I'm an admitted picky eater, I rarely eat healthy and my diet consists of junk food mainly. It's not that I dont want to eat healthy, I cant stand most healthy foods like oatmeal for example. I hate oatmeal with a passion. I've literally thrown up trying to make myself eat oatmeal in the past. Since I have classes on monday, wednesday, and friday. I dont have time to eat breakfast and on Tuesdays and Thursdays my breakfast consist of tuna and crackers with a whey shake sometimes included. Luckily, I'm a naturally skinny guy and I have problems gaining weight so losing weight isnt an issue. My goal would be to gain some mass and some strength.

Like I said, I'm gonna need all the help and support I can get, I cant say I know much about weightlifting other than some things I've read here and there. I know, it's sad, I've been on these boards for 4.5 years and have never been outside the misc except on few occasions.

im proud of myself. I just picked up a membership to LA Fitness today and so since Im going to be going to the fair tomorrow, either Sunday or Monday Im going to start working out. Wish me luck, please offer any suggestions for a beginner.

I dont really have a set plan in action since LA Fitness has all machines. When I go Sunday, I plan on hitting up a whole body workout and adding some swimming because thats always a good way to strengthen muscles I dont normally use and may finish with the Hot tub and steam room.

Very soon, I plan on getting some Fish Oil and more protein. Wish me luck, Im gonna need it after all the fried foods im gonna be devouring at the state fair tomorrow.

It all starts tomorow. I'm ready to get a good workout. Im really looking foreward to it. My plan is to hit up the machines and do a full body workout. Ill have to stop by vitamin shoppe though in order to get some more protein though.

I'm so proud of myself. I finally went to the gym for the first time right after I got off work. Today was upper body, I did Pecs, Biceps, Triceps, and shoulders. After that I did some swimming to get in some cardio and get more excercise of my legs. I then finished off with the sauna, which actually worked wonders. Overall, it was a good day in the gym and Wednesday, I plan on going back to do Legs, Back, and abs.

Argg, Im so sore today from Mondays workout. I plan on hitting up the gym so I can workout my legs and abs since I didn't hit it Monday. Also, I need to go because I want to hit the sauna, in so sore I need a sauna to help relieve some of this soreness.

Today was leg day and I am completely beat. I'm still sore from Monday's workout and boy are my legs gonna be sore soon. I've learned that the Sauna works wonders. That is definitely a permanent fixture of my post-workout routine. Im now snacking on some peanuts and drinking plenty of water and im gonna be grazing until I go to bed.

I just got done with the gym, I did Back, Chest, and arms and feel great after I did a 20 minute sauna session. I went to ghengis grill which is literally next door to my gym and stocked up on teh proteinz

Just got done working out and eating my post workout meal. Today was Leg Day as well as ABS. I did the leg machines and finished with a good session in the sauna. My post workout meal was: cooked turkey, corn, and potatoes. I can't wait to do upper body on Wednesday.

I went ahead and worked out. I did squats, calf excercises, and Tri's today and I feel good. already drank my post workout shake and ate dinner. I'm feeeling good.

I'm at the gym right now and just got done with chest and biceps and I am annoyed because I have a noticible strength difference between my right and left arm so I'm going to really have to focus on biceps to strengthen them. When I get home, i'm going to research a workout program that fits me so I can get bigger. I'm still sore from squats on Saturday.

Just got home from working out. For my workout program, I've decided to run a modified ripptoes program. Tonight I did squats, bench, skull crushers, and Military press. Very good workout. In eating a beef patty, potatoes, and brocollii.

Today was leg day and so I did squats, calf raises, hip abduction machine, and then did upper body. I love leg day because I feel so worn out afterwards. It's a nice feeling of accomplishment.

I also went to Vitamin Shoppe and picked up some Casein Protein and I have a huge 5lb tub of Whey in the mail I got from Whey Cheap dot com

I love working out. Today I did DB Chest fly's, db curls, Skull crushers, cable fly's, chest press machine, and BB Curls. Came home and ate steak. It's pissing me off though, my left arm is weaker than my right arm. Having a strength imbalance sucks.

Tonight I did squats, calf raises, leg press, BB rows, and chest machine. Finished with sauna and some swimming. I came home, had some Alfredo noodles, cottage cheese, and a couple slice. Of wheat bread dipped in extra virgin olive oil.

Went to the gym as usual tonight and focused on upper body. I did bench, Bent over BB Rows, BB Curls, Skullcrushers, and some of the chest machines. One thing I need to get is some weight gainer because it's so hard for me to get the calories I need to be getting in per day so I can grow.

had such a good workout today. I switched it up a little bit, I did Squats then chin-ups and dips and included some Dumbell Flys and finished with some curls. I then went into the sauna and it seemed hotter than usual. Came home had dinner.

I'm beat. Today was squat day and I'm gonna be sore this week from squats and the hip abduction machine. My arms are also pretty beat because I did SkullCrushers as well. I'm pissed though because the sauna at my gym was broken tonight so I wasnt able to relax my muscles like I always like to do. I came home had chicken breast, rice, and corn. Very good workout and I can definitely see results. I'm definitely getting stronger because I'm lifting heavier weights I couldnt lift a month ago.
