Is it just me, or does Korea by far have the best films?

Memories of murder
and yesterday i saw one called "A dirty carnival" I'd give them all 5 stars by hollywood standards, really deep well made stuff. i grew up watching hindi and english movies but this sht takes the cake

I'm gonna have to agree with op.. that includes kdramas..
be sure to check out the war film, Taegukgi ( brotherhood of war ) .. top rated and regarded as one of the best war films ever made.

Heh, the last Korean film I watched was 'The Red Shoes' lol.
I did an intensive study on asian cinema in film class, Korea to me was interesting but Japan and Thailand tickled me just that little bit more.

Its not true 100% of the time, but Id say the large majority of good movies put out are american. THat said, the large majority of bad movies put out are American too.

no doubt hollywood puts out some of the best films of all time but then again when their not doing that their producing some of the worst sht of all time (eg. sandra bullock romantic comedies etc.) but that being said every film industry produces its share of sht films.
but all those you listed above are top grade.
