lulz on just my c+j though! right now I still bang the bar way too much in the snatch and I can't get any sort of consistency with my technique. c+j all I have to do is get my f squat stronger
In jb's defense I did squat before workouts 3x a week over the summer and put 12kgs onto my b squat. BUT the biggest thing for me was I saw 0 transfer over to my olympic liftz.Get This Shiiiiiiiiiiiit

Usually around 140-143lb. I would obviously try to increase that if I were to be 69kg. I think I would like to be like, 148-150, and then not even have to cut to compete. But it would require additional weight to be almost entirely muscle, and to have very large strength gains associated.
It's just an idea at this moment, I'll see what happens after A.O.

I am not poor. Maybe I should get better socks. Having an open wound (left shin) is very distracting.

Only 87. I got badly decked in the snatch because I chose to C+J first on the grounds that my C+J was so terrible the last time. I actually had to go get new socks because they told me I couldn't keep smearing blood all over the bar, which is completely reasonable.

can anybody else here snatch 104ish/230 this ugly and completely on their toes? lol

not sure how I saved that, but what do you guys recommend to fix this issue (although it didn't happen on any of the sets working up, so maybe it is just a 1 time deal. Although I used to have a habit of landing on toes). Snatch balances? More high hang work?

Could be the fact that your feet don't move? You get up on your toes and stay on them throughout the movement, so you land on your toes.
When his feet leave the floor completely, they come back down flat.
So you need like...the opposite of a no-hook no-feet drill? Excellent at getting under the bar but needs to move their feet more? Not sure what that would be. Probably just hang work idk.Last edited by jb4476; 12-02-2013 at 11:03 PM.
