    have you checked out any cfits in your new area? theres a chance they have an old set of squat stands/rack that you can get for free. there was one in LA that agreed to give me a set of squat stands fo free

    tfw you're so weak and haven't done pure strength workouts in so long that you can have linear gains every week.

    Been doing clean pulls for 5's once a week for the past few weeks. Work up to a heavy set of 5 without sacrificing positions, then do back offs at -10% and -20% until form break down. Worked up to 145 today, slow as hell and shaky positions...



    edit: just realized that is only 3 plates... I am officially weaker than the average gym rat.

    As of today, my best front squat is 94% of my best back squat, anyone else have a ratio this high or higher?
    Did some heavy cleans, maxed out on BTN push presses and then went to front squats. At first I wasn´t planning to go too heavy as my last 2 front squat sessions had been below par so I thought I´d focus on getting more reps in at lower weights but as everything felt so light, I felt that it would be a crime to not push the weight up.
    Strength + Speed = Power

    If you never fail, you aren't truly pushing yourself to the limit. If you never push yourself to the limit, how do you know what you're truly capable of?

    Best Front Squat Triple: 130kg x 3
    Best Back Squat Triple: 136kg x 3
    96% ratio.

    :/ honestly feelsbadman.jpeg I think my back squat will end up holding me back; unless my front squat just surpasses it by magic.

    Power snatch 191lbs (floated up, felt like i could have done 200) (PR)
    power clean and power jerk 235lbs (PR)

    session 2
    back squat 355x3 (last one was a total grinder)
    in one set power jerk then 3x squat jerk 245

    I'm looking for bio grad schools up north tbh, some place where there's lots of pine trees and snow lol. Who knows, maybe Canada is in my future.
