Two of the girls were CJing in the lower 90kg range.

I forget if I asked you this before, but did you switch from split jerking to squat jerking? Or were you always squat jerk? I started off as squat jerk because I thought it looked cool but once I was taught how to split I preferred that way more.

Get the original blue Rehbands, they even sell them on Amazon now. The new gray ones are straight poverty status.

I've heard the grey ones are better for ppl with smaller frames. One of my training partners opted for them because of that reason, the blue ones might be too bulky or restrictive for women.

I'm probably going to risk another alergic reaction and try the grey rehbands. I don't like feeling much bulk behind my knees when i'm in the bottom position, and im a bigger guy. I've been using ace bandages for forever but it's not enough.. Grey rehbands sound perfect

Do bandages help your squat #'s? Or are they just for warmth like sleeves are? tbh I only wear sleeves because I have an extra heel insert so I want to be careful with my knees.

I get a STRONG placebo effect when I wear the bandages and lift. I always wear pants and wrap my knees to keep them warm. Once I feel even the slightest pain in my knees my whole workout suffers because I get so stressed that I'll hurt them... There's virtually 0 support because I don't wear them tight, I just hate getting sore knees and I think the bandages help

    Usually looks something like this:
    -General stretch/warmup
-Snatch warmup > wrap wrists > snatch
    -C&J warmup > wrap knees > clean & jerk
    -Pulls
    -Squat
    -fap... wut?

Sup fellas. I'm gonna take another crack at this OLY lifting stuff. Im just getting tired of powerlifting. Tried last year and gave up because of shoulder issues from too much benching. This time I'm gonna cut out bench completely and really focus on my mobility. Might post some form videos soon for you guys to critique.

ace bandages don't add any real support when they're wrapped tight anyways. The main thing is warmth

If you're not adding weight on the bar with bandages then you're definitely wrapping wrong; I get 20kg out of bandages on my squat.

we're thinking of different bandages brah. those are PL style knee wraps, i'm talking about flimsy ACE brand bandages. But yes I agree, if you're using those types of knee wraps and not getting any more kilos out of them you're doing it wrong

The video was just to demonstrate proper wrap technique, I use ace bandages and much prefer them to the thicker cotton PL style wraps.

Do you use the largest ones they make? mine are pretty damn small.
Pretty sure when asked in a YouTube vid about Shankle's knee wraps Pendlay said that they just provide warmth

Nope, pretty standard ones; 3" and they make them up to 6" I think.

Dunno why Pendlay would say that, properly wrapped ace bandages definitely add weight.
