highly recommend doing a bunch of reps of each lift with a broomstick every night. i had huge epiphanies from just one time doing this. greatly increased my speed in just 30-50 reps

had a freak accident yesterday lifting.. was building up to heavy sets and I overpulled an 85 snatch, caught it too far back and got a stretch reflex in my chest which brought the weight forward. The change in direction pulled me off my feet and the BB slammed into my left shin and right ankle on its way to the platform. Leg was swollen like a bitch and hurt to walk.
Iced that bad boy all night, woke up sore this morning. Did a hot shower and a compression wrap and felt good enough to train today. Snatched 90, C&J'd 115, and FS'd 148. Not bad for not thinking I'd be able to lift today.**MISC LIFTING CREW**

I kept the weights light today and really focused on relearning the snatch. My problem was that I was pulling the weight up, pausing it, pulling it with my arms and then exploding it up. Basically the worst parts of the bible.
Anyway read somewhere that the cause of such a problem could be hips rising too fast which was the case for me and I was starting the first pull too fast. Filmed a couple of attempts, albeit at not the best angle and would appreciate some feedback: (I feel that I didnīt fully get my hips into the lift, almost missed it with my hips)
Also practiced some hang clean and jerks. Bad jerking there, wasnīt driving forward enough with my leading foot I think, hence I wasnīt as under the bar as I could have been and the weight wasnīt quite in balance.

Hey guys, it's been a while since I was on here. Anyways, I OLY lifted today for the first time in 2 months. Anyways, I broke my full snatch PR with a power snatch! It's only 84kg but I'm still excited! Hopefully I can start easing back into training. Going to go see the doc again and get her opinion.
Squat: 135 lbs
Bench: 225 lbs
Deadlift: 185 lbs
Stop quoting my stats. I know what I'm doing if I can deadlift 1.5 plates.

Did some BTN jerks yesterday and narrowly missed a new PR of 145kg.
Made a video of it as well and looking at it, I think I clearly drove the bar high enough but I didnīt make the lift. Could it be because I wasnīt really under the bar and should have driven myself more forward?
