I've torn mine and and had my shoulder pop out several times as a result.
This - http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/fo.../flexible.html and Ligaplex II + shoulder strengthening and constant stretching got me back to working condition. A year later and I'm still pretty pretty terrified of every snatch over 100kg causing the sickening crunchy pop sound.

Somewhere inbetween srs. I used to do straight catapult, just pure glutes and gtf under the bar. I was fast but I often cut my pull short and the bar would bounce off my hips and go in front. I switched to jump shrug - this changed my pull line a lot and I got WAY better pull height. My power snatch/clean shot up. But I was way slower under the bar. I also noticed my quads were way more fatigued from pulls wen I did jump/shrug and realized that it is more quad dominant than glute. I am now switching back to more of a catapult style and not letting my feet get too involved with the finish so that I can get under the bar fast, but utilize both glutes and quads but not fully locking out my knees like in a jump/shrug. I noticed that shrugging helps keep the bar much closer on the 3rd pull and helps with transition speed under the bar, so I guess I do a kinda catapult and shrug.
