Works for me. I'm pretty well adjusted to constant squatting at this point, but there is no reason that you cannot go heavy on both the FS and the BS.

I can vouch for this. I've been doing BS and FS for the past two months and my BS has skyrocketed. If you get eat well and sleep well you'll recover by the time you're hitting BS again.

It is a mobility thing. You need better hip mobility to be able to drive your knees towards outside of your torso, instead of them going straight forward. Doing this will make your back much more stable and upright in the catch and bottom of a front squat

No problem. Even today I did back squats and front squats.
    Squat: 135 lbs
    Bench: 225 lbs
    Deadlift: 185 lbs

Stop quoting my stats. I know what I'm doing if I can deadlift 1.5 plates.

Had to bail out on going to CF today. Too much in the way of academic commitment for work due in the next 24 hours. Going to the school gym to squat and press is one thing. That takes one hour at most, and that hour is usually 10 pm-ish. But biking to CF, doing Oly lifts and then strength work and then biking home will consume at least 3.5 hours and those 3.5 hours are usually in the worst time block imaginable, it clashes with everything and it's incredibly mentally draining. I feel bad because Takano will be irritated, but I feel like I'm being pulled in 1,000 directions. I need to do well in school, I need to get into grad school, I'm still doing research, I want to be better at Oly and to recover properly I need enough sleep (something students here famously lack). But it does really make me feel really bad when I am forced to bail on going to CF, which is a bit strange since I'm paying him.

Knees out is usually a function of anterior hip flexibility. Do super couch stretches til you die, quadriceps stretching, and psoas stretching. Also, hit the pigeon pose often as that will help, but mostly the front hip stuff I mentioned.

k sweet. btw when i sit down in a chair and push my knees out as far as possible my external rotators around where my hip/glute/IT meet feels a bit painful (not like really bad but I can feel a bit of pain) I was wondering what this means?

BTW decided I'm gonna get grey rehbands, gonna get some warm pants too, which do you guys think would be better?

    1)

    2)

the description for both on jackals gym is the same (same function, indications, material and thickness). I like the look of the blue one better but don't know which is better for weightlifting

Holy ****. I remember you told me once that FS and BS were really close and it was weird. Have you set any BS PRs recently? Because if not our BS numbers are the same but I think you just tripled my FS 1 RM.

Srs jelly of your tremendous FS progress.

Kind of annoyed that academic commitment (specifically piece of work with strict 8 pm deadline) kept me from Takano but today was still extremely productive. Went to gym at 8:30 and did BTN Push pressing, front squatting, back squatting followed by clean triples. I'm pleased by how conditioned I've become to Oly. Before, after squatting I was tired and so if I Oly lifted second it was mediocre, and conversely if I Oly lifted first I was totally dead and couldn't squat at all. Now either way works fine. Take a 20 minute break, wander around and I'm good to go. Cleaned 108 kgx3 after doing push pressing and maxing out on both squats. That's a PR. Thanks ftwrestler btw for showing me the value of triples and doubles on the main lifts. Feel like I respond really well to them.

My stupid ****ing camera fell over and stopped recording after rep 1.

you need to make your clean pull much more fluid, it looks like you are pausing slightly when you finish jessica-north style but your form is so much better man, you should be really happy of the progress youve made

Thanks man! I am very pleased and I hope to continue to correct the various problems that remain. I hope Takano as well will be happy with today's success when I tell him and that he won't be too annoyed that I missed today (and Friday due to sickness, which caused me to miss today because it pushed back the work that I needed to do). I feel really bad when I miss going to CF, not because it causes me to miss training because it didn't, but because it gives me a reputation for inconsistent showing in his eyes, but academic commitments have to come first.

Holy fuark look who it is. How you doing? And you must be lean as **** now. Have you ever smashed your toes repeatedly with a hammer? Because they kind of look like nails that have been bent out of shape (srs).

I'm sure he understands. being a full time student and lifter takes alot of time out of your day. did my first double session today and I had time for pretty much nothing else besides HW and lifting. felt good doe

yall might not care but I finally figured out how to powerclean. I'd usually struggle to hit 100 barely above parallel/riding most of them down. Today I started shrugging after my pull and that did wonders today and I hit 105 WAY above parallel. Hopefully this translates into my full cleans.
