It's pretty nice. The equipment is top notch with 4 platforms and there are some good oly lifters here. Everyone is pretty much self taught no coach. Best lifter can CJ like 170 @ 105.
Besides the oly lifters though everyone else is ridiculously weak. I know pretty much EVERYONE in the gym and it's starting to become a bad thing lol. Need to stop socializing and just lift.

Realized If i go to my sport gym later at night, theres a group of lifters there that have a small community. feels good to meet people who spend their lives watching weightlifting vids on youtube and lifting like myself.
I need to max more, worked up on hang snatches
I hit a 95kg 1 snatch 2 hang snatch complex today
then after worked on singles up to 100,

seriously dude, I haven't been to takanos since that last time I went with you. That was like 3 weeks ago...
I miss you brahs though, and Zankou... lol been cooking and eating a **** load of arabic food lately, SO BOMB!
On a side note, I got picked to review some Controlled Labs protein. They sent me 8lbs in the mail, the only catch is that I have to keep a log of what I'm lifting/eating online which is simple considering I already have my weightlifting log lol. I've been dealing with a lower back/hip injury since the about July. Really put me behind. PT helped for a bit, but then once I started lifting again it started back up. They really had no idea what it is. I think I might ask for an x-ray pretty soon.
Currently training to become Goku (srs). Status: Turtle hermit training, not yet a Saiyan.

Also, has anyone heard anything about the book The Weightlifting Encyclopedia: A Guide to World Class Performance? I've heard it's the essential book to have, but it's out of print apparently and costs min. $130.

Yo I'm still here and going to Takano's 5x a week. Not so much time to post, pretty busy with work, but I check on this thread from time to time.
So you know how Klokov's channel is 44252005? It's a reference to the fact that his best total is 442.5 at the Russian nationals. He was slightly over and competed in the +105 class at around 110 BW.
Here's a video of the C+J portion. At 28:40 one of the lifters makes a bizarre save when he rotates 180 degrees in the jerk.

I mean, sure if you guys want to come on Saturdays that's cool. I'll probably train the front and back squat since there's not much point in training the main lifts while Takano is fixing my technique. That being the case, i'll probably go to the indoor part of the gym to train, if you guys want to train the lifts you can go to the shed outside.
